Please reach out with any questions.

1) Majority Leader Schumer Floor Remarks & Talkers On The Announcement Of A Bipartisan, Bicameral Framework For The Omnibus Agreement To Fully Fund Our Government:

Washington, D.C. – Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) today spoke on the Senate floor on the bicameral, bipartisan agreement on a framework to fund the federal government in fiscal year 2023 that includes many priorities including more aid for Ukraine and the Electoral Count Act. Senator Schumer’s remarks can be viewed here.

Last night, key bipartisan appropriators announced a framework for an omnibus agreement to fully fund the federal government in FY2023.

A full government funding package is in the best interest of the American people and will make sure our children, senior citizens, veterans, small businesses, and defense don’t see vital government services lapse or shrink.

The omnibus package will fund legislation like the PACT Act and the CHIPS and Science Act and contain bipartisan priorities, including more funding for Ukraine and the Electoral Count Act.

A week-long continuing resolution will give appropriators enough time to finalize a full omnibus package, and the Senate should be ready to act quickly to approve one.

The Senate must continue to work together to do right by Americans and send a complete omnibus package to President Biden’s desk ASAP.

2) Leader Schumer & Senate Democrats Tweets and Videos – RT/Amplify

Leader Schumer: The Respect for Marriage Act is now law. Because no one in a same-sex marriage or an interracial marriage should have to worry if their marriage will be invalidated.

Leader Schumer: 10 years after the horrific Sandy Hook shooting: Our grief remains for the innocent lives lost—but so does our resolve to stop gun violence. With that resolve, we achieved the passage of the first major gun safety bill in 30 years, and we'll keep working to stop gun violence.

Senate Democrats (NEW VIDEO feat. Senator Schatz): Republican Senator Josh Hawley is blocking vital DOD and Navy nominees “Why block the comptroller from the Navy? It just makes no sense to me.” Via @SenBrianSchatz

Senator Warner: Not having a full omnibus spending bill jeopardizes the implementation of so many of the critical bills we passed this year. A CR just won’t cut it – we’ve got to pass a full omnibus soon.
